Easter spit roast: Beef & lamb

We hope you’re enjoying our Spit Roast Month as much as we are.

If you haven’t already, it’s time to start planning the menu for your Easter BBQ… featuring a spit roast, of course.

A classic favourite – use any store-bought BBQ sauce with this one or make your own using one of our simple BBQ sauce recipes.

Garlic Lamb Spit Roast recipe
We’ve often said we love anything with garlic and butter – but this combination over a slow cooked spit roast is amazing (if we don’t say so ourselves). The trick is: Don’t be tight with the butter! Serve with one of our delicious sides recipes.

Spit roast tip of the week: Basting

This simple act can add mountains of flavour to your roast and will help to ensure the insides stay nice and juicy.

Use a basting brush (not expensive & easily available) or make your own using a bunch of herbs tied together (with the added bonus of the herbaceous flavour imparting on your roast).
