Terry’s Grilled Chicken BBQ Recipe
Terry McEvoy of Spithouse is a great friend and supporter of the Heat Beads® brand. Today he shares with us a simple but delicious grilled chicken spit roast recipe.
- small fresh chicken (butterfly style)
- 1 jar of tomato purée stuff (flavoured with some garlic, onion or something like that)
- a couple of tablespoons of stinky cheese (aka parmesan)
- cracked salt and pepper
Light your spit or grill with Heat Beads® BBQ Briquettes as per instructions
Flatten your chicken out in the spit grill basket or directly onto the grill.
Cover on both sides with the tomatoe purée stuff.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over it and add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for about 1 ½ hours.
Serve with a fresh salad… or some more beer!
Preparation time = 1 stubby (20 minutes).
Cooking time = about 3 stubbies (1 hour) or a good bottle of Semillon Blanc (And I do know what that is!).
