Grilled Peaches with Glazed Cherries and Ice Cream BBQ Recipe

Ingredients
- 6 slipstone peaches, ripe but firm, cut in half, stone removed
- 50g butter
- ¼ cup sugar
- ice cream
- peach schnapps
Sauce
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 can preserved cherries
Method

To make the sauce, pour the sugar into a small pot and allow it to caramelise. Once the sugar has caramelised, pour in the preserved cherries and leave the sauce to simmer.

For the peaches, lay down some foil and some baking paper on the grill plate and melt the butter with the sugar on the baking paper. Lay the peaches face down in the butter and sugar and allow them to simmer.

Serve together with ice cream, a drizzle of peach schnapps and sauce.
