Bacon Wrapped Asparagus on the Grill
The definition of the perfect side dish: quick, easy, and most importantly, delicious!
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 4 strips bacon (cut in half)
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- kosher salt (to taste)
- fresh cracked black pepper (to taste)
Heat the grill to a medium heat (unless you’re planning to throw the asparagus on after you’re done cooking meat)
Put your asparagus in a bowl and season with olive oil, salt and pepper. Ensure each stem is well coated.
Cut bacon strips in half. Make sure you use thinly sliced bacon, so that it crisps up quickly and won’t leave your asparagus overcooked!
Wrap the bacon around your seasoned asparagus, and throw on the grill. Cook until bacon is crispy, about 3-4 mins per side depending on your bacon
