Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon basic barbecue rub
- 1 flat tbsp dashi powder
- 2 teaspoon wasabi powder
- 1 teaspoon japanese 7 spice powder (shichimi togarashi)
Basic Barbecue Rub
- smoked paprika
- garlic powder
- black pepper
- white pepper
- salt
- pepper
Method

Sprinkle and rub salmon and leave for an hour or so.

Grill salmon yakitori style on your BBQ until medium rare and skin is crispy. Make sure the grill plates are well oiled and red hot before beginning to cook to prevent sticking.

Basic Barbecue Rub
Use equal quantities of all ingredients and combine to form a rub.
