All-Purpose Dry Rub BBQ Recipe
Food-writer, broadcaster and founder of the Australian Barbecue Academy, Bob Hart, shares this simple, sensational dry rub recipe that’s sure to add a little bit of tangy zest and spice to your food – perfect for a summer BBQ.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons celery salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 tablespoon salt flakes
Method

Mix all of your ingredients together and store it in an airtight container. Rub your meat with your desired amount of flavour before you place it on the grill. Easy and delicious – enjoy!
