Back to basics: The humble potato
This starchy, odd shaped, tuberous crop turns into all kinds of fluffy goodness when cooked on the BBQ.
For our camp oven enthusiasts, this Cajun Bush Spuds BBQ Recipe is deliciously simple. For a little bit of heat, add a touch of chilli powder to the spice mix.
At Heat Beads® headquarters, we believe simple is best. Our favourite method hands down is the tried and tested baked potato. Take washed potatoes, drizzle with olive oil, season to your liking, wrap individually in foil and bake on the BBQ (lid down) on medium heat. Use a fork to test for doneness.
Don’t forget that potatoes need to be stored in a cool, dark, well-ventilated area of your house.
If you’re a potato freak like us, send us your best recipe and we’ll have it published right here. Get in touch or use the form on BBQ Recipes.
