Australian Char – makers of Heat Beads^® BBQ Briquettes – was honoured to be recognised for its efforts in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Having won the Premier’s Regional Business Award in Greater Dandenong for CSR in 2008, the company went head to head with all other winners from the last 20 years to ultimately finish in the final three. This is an incredible achievement for the team – and recognition of Australian Char’s emphasis on CSR.

Australian Char continues its involvements with CSR initiatives across a range of activities including support to HEAT – a youth displacement program, and Interchange – a charity that works to raise awareness of people with disabilities.
