Announcing the first ever Australian Barbecue Academy

An exciting opportunity is opening up to anyone who suspects there is more to seriously great barbecuing than meets the eye. If you want to know how to become a BBQ chef extraordinaire and how to make a gigantic shift from throwing a steak or prawn on the barbie, here’s your chance. Learn the secrets of true blue barbecuing techniques from one of the best in the world of Aussie barbecuing.

In the next few weeks we will be bringing you more news about a very special three day BBQ experience in December. Our good friend, and undisputed leading BBQ expert Bob Hart, will be staging the first Australian Barbecue Academy at the delightful Balgownie Estate in the Yarra Valley. If you have ever wanted to attend Steven Raichlen’s BBQ University in the US but haven’t been able to make it, this is the event for you!

During this comprehensive course, you will prepare entrees, mains and desserts on a range of barbecues including kettle style barbecues, smokers and gas grills.
