Host A BBQ For Prostate Cancer
According to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA), close to 3,300 men die of prostate cancer each year – equal to the number of women who die from breast cancer annually across Australia – and yet there are many who are not fully informed on the disease.
Well, September is the month to make a change!
In conjunction with Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the PCFA urge you to join them in hosting a BBQ for Prostate Cancer anytime during the month of September.
You can even use this special invitation provided by PCFA to tell your friends about your big day.
If you do decide to host your own BBQ for Prostate Cancer, share your highlights and photos with the rest of the BBQ community on our Facebook page.

*Some other statistics from the PCFA:
- One in 9 men in Australia will develop prostate cancer in their lifetime.
- Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Australian men
